Universal is nonsense. If you have a 1/4 valve, search for that. Harder to find, but "universal" means it fits poorly and falls off.

I love that this Gas Valve Key does fit my Gas Fireplace gas valve stem smoothly and easily; matches the finished on the stem; looks very nice, well-made, and sleek on my living room wall; and most of all, turns the gas on and off perfectly for my gas fireplace. Per the description, the key is corrosion-resistant and is made for indoor and outdoor use. The purchase of the Universal Gas Valve Key was a winner for me and a great value. I would recommend this to everyone.

Good quality, Good price. Excellent replacement. When we bought our house, we had no idea where the former owners put their key. Not even sure they really used their fireplace. So this was a much needed replacement!

I used to have three of these, but couldn't find ANY once the weather turned cooler. Simple fix! Head to Amazon and get two! Hopefully I can find the others, but these are a perfect fit for all our our fireplaces.

It's super handy to have a couple of these gas shutoff keys close by our gas log fireplace. The adjustable valve is located in our floor a couple feet from the fireplace, so we keep a key on the mantle and another one in a nearby drawer in case we misplace the other. The gold finish on the key is nice enough that it doesn't look like something that should be hidden away in the garage, and leaving it out is safer and more convenient.
