This is the typical blue painters type you find at your local home improvement store. It has a similar feel and doesn't leave any residue. The tape is kind of a cross between paper and a plastic feel. It does leave a clean paint line when used for painting. I like to remove tape while the paint is wet and I had no issues with this stuff. There are a number of tape grades and this lands about in the mid-low range. It's fine on painted surfaces and wood floors. Doesn't leave any residue and sticks okay. It's not super sticky like some other brands I've tried but it does the job fine and doesn't cost as much as what I find locally. Overall a nice option for tape.

Full disclosure: I did not use this tape for painting. I used it with my CNC machine and some other wood-working tasks.This tape comes in two long rolls that are accurately sized at 2 inches wide. In my use, I apply one piece of tape to the table, add a few drops of glue, and another piece of tape to my workpiece. I then smash all this together to make a removable double-sided tape. For that purpose I found that the tape worked perfectly well. However, I also used it to help attach some corner brackets that I was clamping up in 45 Degree joints. Other tapes have done well here because the force applied by the clamp is lateral and that's the strongest attachment the tape will have. With this tape, I had 1 out of 16 brackets come undone. That's not a high percentage, but it was really annoying and could have damaged my workpiece (it didn't)I'm happy with the tape, and I found it to be a pretty good bargain. There are many many many other options out there and I feel that they're all pretty similar. I would suggest getting the one that best fits your budget.

We received two large rolls of 2 inch painters tape, they worked well, just like the name brand ones you buy at the store. They peeled off the roll well and ripped easily. I left the tape on a painted area for about a week and it did not get stuck to it, nor did it pull the paint off. I would highly recommend this tape for all your painting jobs or projects you're doing with the kids. Works great!

I've yet to find a painters tape that I actually like. Frog Tape has been the best that I've used, but I only even give that about 4 stars. Basically, a painter's tape has to do a lot to impress me. This stuff did not. It was your standard, middle of the road tape. The adhesion was decent on some hard-to-stick surfaces I've had issues with, but I was still left with blob marks when taping a textured corner, even though, I did everything in my power to try to prevent it (ensuring good adhesion, not using too much paint and putting the brush parallel to the tape). Overall, just OK.

If you are looking for an alternative for the pricey name brand painters tape, definitely give this one a try. This painters tape seems to stick and pull ls off without damage and with ease. Each roll is individually wrapped. The tape does seem to measure a tad bit under 2 inches. However, this isn't a big deal for us, as we're using painters tape for art projects or tape games. This tape easily removes from our hardwood flooring, without leaving a sticky residue. Overall, this is painters tape is just as good if not better than the other more expensive brands

We use a ton of this at our shop so wanted to give this brand a try. Excellent adhesion and clean release. No side leaks noticed. Price is amazingly low. 2 rolls for what one costs in the store. I'm very happy with this tape and we will be using it from now on. Highly recommend.

On receipt, I was a bit unsure whether I would like this tape - it has a "plasticy" appearance and feel, unlike the other blue tape that I've used previously, which had more of a paper look and feel. Turns out one should not judge a book by its cover, so to speak. This tape is great - it has very good adhesion, appropriately strong and also releases cleanly. On unpainted wallboard, this tape, just like every other blue tape, will not release cleanly. I tested this specific scenario in my garage with all of the various brands of blue painters tape that I have on hand & they all performed the same way in this regard. On painted surfaces, it releases cleanly with no problems or surface damage. I am glad to have ordered this product and I can recommend its use to others. Great value overall.
