These are stamped with a rating on them and work so much nicer than a shackle.

These are indeed heavy duty bracket set. The major downfall is that they do not come with the hardware needed. The risk here is that the hardware used should reflect the application. The vendor should have paired the brackets with the compatible hardware. The quality of these brackets seem to be solid.

These engine lift sets appear to be well made and weigh ~8.25 ounces per set. What I do not like is the thickness of the brackets/mounts: they are ~5/16" thick where others I own range from ~3/16" to ~1/4" thick. To me that usually infers: thicker to compensate for inferior steel. I cannot say for certain on these as their rating is 5500 pounds; in my work they will only be tested to about 1000 pounds (so they get a pass).They should work out well with most automotive engine pulling requirements.

These may even be a little TOO solid. Overkill for sure which is not a problem when an engine is over your skull. These things should come in a 4 pack as it is necessary for the job. I myself bought (4) and am very happy with the product. The offset is great. Hope to never buy again as these seems like they will last my lifetime.
