This is my first time trying out lucet forks - though I've wanted one for a long time - and these are great! The wood feels very solid and sturdy and is also smoothed, so there's nothing to catch on. And not only do you get both a regular lucet and a double lucet, but you get two of each! And two plastic tapestry needles and two pick thingies that you can use to pick up the loops on the lucet. It comes with printed instructions, but I found it easier to watch the video instead. There are QR codes for three different tutorial links (I've only watched the first one so far), but you can also find tons of videos on YouTube about how to use these. Anyway, this is a great set!

Works great! I love that I can work with one while my 10yr old works with the other. Our xmas tree will be covered in knitted garlands this year!

Once you get the hang of handling these, it's pretty easy and your imagination is the limit. You can use any type of yarn or thread with this, or even strips of fabric - it's pretty simple. Although I haven't found a lot of information or tutorials online, they do exist and are really helpful. the instructions that are included with the set are helpful, but not enough to really get the hang of it, in my opinion. These would be very easy to travel with given their size, including the hooks that come with the set. Those are really useful to help move yarns, and it does happen!Overall, these are really good quality - very smooth finish and I didn't find any rough spots or anything that would snag the yarns. I think they are a great value for the set, and I recommend them!
