fun little terrarium kit for kidsit would definitely be cheaper to go DIY and make your own kit, but for the convenience, this kit is great.has everything you needmy kid enjoyed doing each step by themselves and have a working night light by the end

I got this as an activity for my toddler to do with the help of her big brother (I got him a dino one) over Winter Break and they had a blast making it together! 😬The kids had fun watching watching it rotate through different colored light options and enjoyed the brightly colored figurines.The item is small enough that it can sit on an end table or night stand, but it's not small either (it fits in my teenager's hand).

These are very nicely made with the outer jar being plastic. (Think about it as a night light at the bedside. Much better to be plastic in case it is knocked over.)This particular one is the perfect combination of colors with white, pink, and purple on the unicorns and there's just enough faux plants and such to make it look really cool inside. My daughter was absolutely captivated while putting it together.The remote works pretty well to adjust the LED light and it looks amazing as a night light in her bedroom.

I'm really glad I got this terrarium kid for my 8 year old daughter. It was very easy for her to set up herself and more than enough things to put inside the terrarium. I especially like that it comes with a remote for the light that can control the color of the light as well as a timer. My daughter was very happy with this.

It's battery operated, she got to design her own unicorn garden. One of many presents I purchased her for her birthday, but this one stood out for her.
