This is a must have tool if you work on cars. Too many times I have needed to test continuity only to end up with my probes being to short to reach. This is great because it keeps them nice and neatly coiled up.

I have been working on a few cars that I am rehabbing. One is German and has a bunch of electrical issues that need resolved. I am tired of making my own test leads and jumper cables!This retractable set is awesome and keeps me from wasting wire and alligator clips... which aren't cheap anymore.Totally worth every cent.

These test leads are each 30 feet long. So your test points can be almost 60 feet apart! The 18 AWG wire shows less then .5 ohm on my meter so no issues with length impacting most readings. The leads are on a spool they keeps them free from tangles when not in use. The banana plugs on each end are standard 4 mm so they are comparable with most meters. They come with four sets of attachable ends for flexibility: two sets of alligator type clips so they can be used as low voltage jumper cables, a set of insulation piercing probes, and a set of standard test probes with tip covers to minimize exposure. Everything about this set speaks of very high quality. Highly recommended.

These are great they really are. I never need 30ft of range but i have on several occasions needed a few more feet than standard leads provide. This is the solution to that problem. My only complaint is that the voltage and amperage limits are not printed on the reel. This would make it a 5 star product.

These are great to have around the shop. If you need to run a long lead, or a short one these fit the bill and come with a variety of tips to use for your particular application. I really love the retractable leads as I can just attach these to my workbench and just run off a lead and bring it back in whenever I need and not create a tripping hazard.

These test leads are quite nice and have interchangeable probes and alligator clips. They are all rated to 1000V. The alligator clips are even rated up to 32A, the rest to 10A. Both of my multimeter and my adjustable power supply all use the same style banana connectors so it is extremely handy and flexible. The leads are way longer than I currently need at 30 feet long, but to long is better than to short. I was worried that there would be a good bit of resistance in that long of test leads but I was surprised to find out it's extremely low. I only measured like 0.6 ohms for the 30 ft length. When using the long test leads you must pull from both ends to extend the wires. Pulling from just one will cause the wire to jamb up inside and can be difficult to straighten it out. Once you are done with the test leads you hold the top of the case with one hand and use your other hand to spin the bottom which wines the wires up. You will want to make sure the test leads are not twisted, they need to be flat for all of the wire to fit back in to the round housing. Love them so far and would definitely recommend them.
