I actually bought these as parts to make a cheap painting handle to hold heavy models that have been pinned for painting. For that usage they are working great - I haven't actually used them for drilling but I imagine they'll work fine for that as well.

Solidly built and perfect for what I needed. I take one end of the pin vice and insert it into my drill stand chuck. I am then able to use much finer drill bits and accessories.

J'ai du agrandir un peu le plus gros des embouts pour réussir à entrer une mèche de 1/8". Une fois ceci fait j'ai pu utiliser les mèches avec un bout standart de 1/8".

I had a .062 drill bit. It is in the size range for this tool. One end is too loose and the other end of the vice is too tight.

You can’t screw it down enough to hold the piece securely. Poor machining/manufacturing.

bought this for my mother in-law and its hard for her to you with her wrist its best to you the drill technique if you don't have the strength to twist by hand because its hard to grip.

The collet is not symmetrical and it is difficult to properly hold smaller pieces. The larger end is better, but still not straight. If you want to use it to hold a small drill bit, the drill will not be centered and wobbles when turned. For HOLDING small items they may be OK, but don't expect to drill a straight whole.

You receive just as what's shown. They are nice little vices & easy to use, but I haven't used them yet.My projects have been so small with very little twisting. It just seems easier & quicker to grab my wire w/my pliers & twist it. Guess I really didn't need these after all. Maybe I'll use them some day. Possibly when I make coils.
