OMG, these sanding belts are outlasting Harbor Freight and Eastwood by a mile. I’m not sure if this is a true apples to apples comparison and I’ve only used the 80 grit so far but the results are outstanding. I’m using these to grind off welds made on auto sheet metal rust repairs.

The first two belts I tried separated at the tape joint in under a minute of use.

I bought these to square up the 1 1/4” hardie hole in my turn of the century anvil (Keep in mind forged anvils are very hard)Having just said that, I found the zirconia abrasive dulled fairly quickly and once dull any real pressure applied on the belt wore the abrasive away even quicker (it was best to try to let the belt do the cutting) ….. these 3/8” belts are significantly less expensive than the name brand, so I did not expect them to be the same quantity and I was not disappointed …… I would probably buy them again but the next day shipping from Amazon made the purchase a no brainer……

The best feature of these belts is definitely the low price. The construction quality is definitely several grades below the name-brand belts in my opinion, but the cost is also a lot cheaper. The belt feels thinner than a name-brand belt, and also the seam where it connects together, that looks like a more flimsy seam than the name-brand belts. Furthermore, the grit looks a bit "less" on some areas of the belt than others, showing a lack of consistency during manufacturing, or possibly that the grit is shedding off of the belt just in the packaging. Either way, not something that you see in name-brand belts. That said, the price is very compelling, and for the casual user who wants an assortment of grits, and who does not want to spend much money, and only expects to put these to light-duty use, then I think they are a good value. For the serious user who will use your belt sander tool on a very regular basis, then you will find better value with the name-brand belts. I do not use this tool very often, so this pack of belts is good-enough for my needs.

Great detail sander belts. High quality grit that lasts through a lot of sanding and works on a wide variety of materials.

The sanding belt fit well on my belt sander. It made quick work of the rust on metal brackets and parts. So far I am pleased with the belts on how they are working and performing and you get a bunch of them in the pack, so you don't need to worry about running out any time soon.
