Hooks welded easy. I'm a little leary on if they are actually Gr 70. I had to keep turning my welding machine down as I was getting a lot of undercut on the hook side. The steel on the bucket was able to take a lot more heat input. I was also welding .045 flux core 220 volt.All in all I'm happy with them.
