These are great to have extras of. Lots of times, when you take off a skewer, one always seems to drop on the ground and roll away, never to be seen again. These springs are not life or death items, but it certainly helps to center a wheel when reinstalling it after getting a flat or any other time you need to remove a skewer.

If you work on bikes a lot or use a trainer you have lost these. You have been pissed off and probably not near a bike shop. The bike shop has probably been irked to sell you this ridiculously cheap item that costs more hourly salary in the 5 minutes to ring you up than the 2 cents it is worth, or maybe didnt have them! Just buy this pack and never worry again
