These stars are cut out of glittery card stock-weight paper. They are not flimsy, and worked very well for what I needed them for. I used them to write names on for a graduation display. I was able to write in them with a regular black sharpie with no problem, but would recommend a black paint pen for beast results, since the gold is a glittery texture. I took off 1 star because about ten of them were unusable because the points were bent. But overall, these were a good value.
