had to bend to make it contour in front of car, hook was to big for hood, not oem replacement for 2021 civic

This part was a replacement for the hood support on my 2011 Nissan Sentra. Took me 5 minutes to install. My nephew who had borrowed my car when the original support disappeared, brought the original support to me 4 days later. He neglected to tell me he had kept the original support. Now I have the new one on my car, and the old one in my trunk for backup. The product I ordered was exactly as described and fit perfectly.

It came without the clip at the bottom so up to this day I'm unable to use it

Fits great holds up the hood on my 2010 Sentra. I had to bend it in order to keep it from popping out of the plastic holder clip when its in the down position. Just bent it over my knee a little where I could see it was touching the car where it shouldn't and now it fits great.
