I ordered this because my convertible top on my Mercedes would not open due to having old fluid in the reservoir. I had to extract the old fluid, then refill it with fresh new fluid. This was exactly what I needed to remove my hydraulic fluid, and my top works perfectly now.

I liked how the screw on tip “captures” the plastic hose and can tighten to get a good seal and does not come loose. Similar products come with a “bite” type connection that just didn’t look long lasting to me if I am to need to change out hoses in the future. Came with 2 extra sealing o-rings and a cap for the end of the hose.

Works well but the seals are a bit soft. A slightly higher durometer and more chemical resistance seal material would make this product perfect. The seals swell when subject to aggressive solvents and leak a bit, probably due to softness, with thinner oils.Asked for replacement seals and customer service was great!

The seals on the plunger leak and allow fluid past which then gets shot out the vent when you go to fill it back up and leaks out the top of you hold it plunger side down. I got this thinking it would be better than one of those quart bottle pumps to put ATF in my transfer case. I was wrong. This thing is terrible. Since the seals leak it also sucks more air than fluid. The only thing this device does consistently is make a mess.
