It works on the forward reverse seat motor on a 2015 CX-5. A more precise list of vehicles it worked for would be nice but the part works fine and appears to be a sturdier replacement for the stock piece.

I saved over $1000 by not taking Mazda's word for " the only thing that would work..."We fixed the seat in about an hour and it has been over 6 month and it still functions as it should!

The seat motor on my gf's 2015 cx-5 was making a loud noise. I decided to investigate one Saturday only to find out that the sound was from the stock cable rod gone bad. Doing further research, I saw folks who had same issues replacing with a fully stainless steel shaft. Why didn't Mazda make a solid shaft instead ?! Dealership quoted $1200 for a whole assembly replacement. If you are mechanically inclined, you can knock this out in 15 mins. Crazy fast shipping (Ordered Tue/recieved Friday).

Installed the item without issue, I had some questions about fitment and seller was more than happy to answer them. Seems like a really nice guy, would order from again but I doubt I’ll ever have an issue with the seat again.
