Quality is defintely made for the outdoors. The post is PVC pipe material and the globe covers are plastic. The switch also allows 3 settings witch is awesome. I use for special events and night markets.

Easy to put together, and with 4 CFL bulbs (100w equivalent), it lights up the entire deck and half of my big back yard!
