I bought these to make cyanotyped bandanas with my line art to sell, but I cannot sell these. They are horribly wrinkle prone, I washed them with washing soda (as is standard prep for dye and cyanotype applications l) on perm press and dried on the steam dry/wrinkle release setting and still got what looked like a box of used tissues out of the dryer. Bandanas are meant to be worn/used and washed a ton and no one wants to iron their bandanas so that alone makes them unsellable. I work with a lot of linen and I've never had a fabric wrinkle as badly in the wash as these bandana blanks did, usually the steam dry cycle gets rid of 80-90% of wrinkles too!It took 2 hours to iron them all and once I did I was met with a pile of unevenly cut rectangles, not a single one was a proper square, a bunch had uneven/wavy edges, there was no real uniformity to the cut of them and that is completely unacceptable for bandanas as most people wear their bandanas folder diagonally and expect to have 3 sharp and even corners.Additionally, 3 of them had tan stains and 2 more had green/grassy looking stains on them. I washed them in a single load with no other laundry so it's not like they picked up stains in the wash. These are unusable as bandanas and likely unreturnable after having been washed, so my only remaining option is to try to cut them up to make flags and patches and try to find alternative bandana blanks.

So I had to make tie-dye bandannas for a boys Scout group. I believe it was they were playing a prank on their leader and I had to put pictures of her on there and they wanted the color of their group and it was a teal so I tie-dyed it and I then pressed it down with the images and it looks absolutely amazing, so thickness is not that big like it’s just like a bandanna so it’s not gonna be very thick is washable. The colors came out really well. The value was amazing. I still have some left that I can tie-dye if I like so if you need something tye dyed get these now

They pick up dye well, and the color holds fast. However, these are not square (they don’t match corners when you fold them), so designs turn out wonky and weird. The fabric is a bit heavier than I want for a bandana, and it doesn’t seem to soften enough with washing.

Used these for a craft project to make bandanas by pounding freshly cut flowers and leaves into them with a hammer or mallet. They took the color well and can be washed.Over time they fade a bit so just pound more flowers into them to refresh.

I’ll start with one negative that I found with these hanker chiefs and that is that a long one edge it is printed “100% cotton” which is rather obvious invisible, so I took a star off for that. That being said, they are actually really good quality the printing is clean. If you have someone that prefers to use handkerchiefs daily, this is great for that. They would work well to wear his head scarfs. They also work well to cover your nose and mouth as some sort of sort of a mask. These are also great for tie-dying or custom dying to a certain color anything like that. This is a great value for the price.I received this item for free. However, this is my fair and honest review.

When I ordered these handkerchiefs, I wasn't sure what to expect, especially since there were 40 of them. When I received these handkerchiefs, they were nicely wrapped and they felt nice and well put together. I got these in an attempt to reduce my use of paper Kleenex tissues, and I think they are definitely helping. I don't have the issue of sneezing right after blowing my nose, like I do with paper tissues; I say that because I've heard of others having the same issues. It's definitely weird getting into reusable handkerchiefs, yet my great grandparents used nothing but cloth handkerchiefs, so I think I can get used to it.I like how soft these feel, and their functionality.I will say that I have been using them without ironing them and they do wrinkle quite a bit, but I just do my best to flatten them out right out of the dryer and it works for me. I may try ironing them to see if they work better, I know my great grandmother ironed all of her stuff, so maybe I'll try it too.Overall, I'm happy with these handkerchiefs.

My office bought these to use for our Tie Dye event. They worked perfectly. Some of the colors did wash out completely, leaving the bandana a fresh white again. But most of them worked just fine. Perfect for a dog gift or for a human head.

Okay, I’m going into “curmudgeon in training” mode here: “I remember when a guy could get a 3-pack for 2 bucks!” Which is true, but that was 20 years ago. So it seems in today’s retail landscape, these, at the 40 for $40 is actually a decent deal. Yes, you can get assorted paisley pre-printed colored bandannas for cheaper, but what fun is that. The one star knock is for the low thread count fabric these are made of. If I were more motivated, it wouldn’t be that big a deal to run to a fabric store when they have cotton muslin on sale, and get a nicer, softer and higher thread count fabric for less upfront money cost. Of course, then I’d have to go into turn of the century sweatshop mode and cut and sew up my own white squares. But since I’ve never figured out how to use my rolled edge sewing machine attachment…no thanks. But to be fair, the weave might tighten up a tad after a wash and dry. So I took a quick whack drawing a pattern on one of these with alcohol markers. I’ll have to find a smoother surface for future attempts, but for my personal use, good enough. Other than my baby curmudgeon nitpicking, a thumbs up recommendation.
