I originally purchased these to use in a Lazy Boy chair back that had two of the cross-springs broken. I feel they were a little too heavy for this application and would probably do much better as chair bottom springs. These are some heavy duty springs. I needed a 24" set of bolt cutters to cut these springs. That's not the fault of the manufacturer by any means. Just be aware how hefty they are and you'll do fine.Good luck with your project!

Worked as expected and made my La-Z-boy feel like brand new. Search youtube to see how to change the springs. There is one guy who gave a tip on how to reinstall these new springs. It was still difficult because these are new springs, but it worked. Total time to replace (from removing the seat and upholstery to sitting in the new chair) was about 3 hours. This was definitely better than trashing and purchasing a new chair.

If you buy these springs, buy the installation tool to install them. A lot easier with the tool than installing with a chord or by hand.

These appeared to be the same as the broken spring on my La-Z-Boy recliner. But the width between each spring segment is slightly larger than the stock springs. That extra width made assembly more difficult because I needed to stretch the spring another 1/4" or 1/2" more than otherwise. Without a stretcher tool, I was able to make it work with a second pair of hands. I recommend matching the springs exactly. These seem like they'll work, but it was more work than anticipated.

Used to fix Lazyboy springs. The product is very sturdy, but it is what was in a 35 year old recliner.Buy them in the length you need them. You won't be able to stretch them very far [MAYBE a 1/2 inch?] as they are quite stiff. My first order was too short. Sent it back for the 23" ones. While these were too long, I cut them with a metal cutting cutoff wheel. The seller was no problem.

We purchased this set for our electric recliners. Can be tricky to install but they are well made and last for years.

My chairs spring broke so I needed a new one. This worked great! I did have to trim an inch off for my usage but it's holding steady. Since it is a spring it is a little difficult to get on. I watched a tutorial first and that helped a lot.
