There are several versions of this product out there. I purchased another version initially because it looked like there was sufficient plastic. I was disappointed to learn (on delivery) that the quantity of plastic was minimal. I ordered this version because I paid closer attention to how much plastic was there. It was more than enough to get the job done.

Just got these and tried them and they are junk. I have been using the Snap On ones and ran out so I tried these and the melting point and playability of them is awful.

This welding rods is called bumper repair, so I tried to use it to repair my son's broken RC car, but seems it cannot weld the parts very well. Anyway, it may not be the problem of this product itself.

i was a little disappointed that the rods were folded in half, makes it kind of hard to work with because it gets in the way unless you have a feeder tip. Still worked great and was exactly what i expected
