3. Do not use plastic coated wire rope.

Defective nuts were slipping right off the threaded U-bolts on some of the wire rope clamps, effectively rendering some wire rope clamps useless. I ended up throwing a handful of the clamps in the trash.

The treads on these saddles don't match the nuts provided. The nuts have way too much play. The treads are very shallow. I won't take the risk using these for my project, as I think the nuts will easly slip on the treads. I don't think that they will be safe. It will not be economical for me to return them as I had them shipped out of the USA.

Good quality. Unfortunately some of the nuts were 3/8” and some 3/32” which was annoying but I just kept two size sockets in my pocket to tighten them while I did my project so it wasn’t too much of an obstacle. Happy with them overall.

Website describes this as "heavy duty" cable clamps. This is a huge lie. If you're buying it for anything more than to hang a light or maybe a few of your cloths on a cable, you're in for a big disappointment.Several nuts did get stuck on the clamp and the only way to remove the clamp is by cutting it with a grinder.

You get your money's worth, they are easy to install, and they hold onto whatever they're tightened to!
