These stay in place better if you have air ride seats as the lever to adjust the air seat height stays in the split in the bushing not allowing the bushing to slide around in the seat base. There is a little plastic extrusion that must be there to hold in place but there is no hole to fit it on on the base. Cut this off to let it fit right down on seat base.

I accidentally purchased this item and was unable to return but for the cost i really dont care. The item is made very well and i feel like if it was the size i actually needed it would function perfectly for my boat seat post.

I had my doubts that this would actually address the slight wobble on the seats of my 1986 grady white. But incredibly enough, this is all that they needed to return to new! They do require quite a bit of disassembly to get them installed but it is a night and day difference. Worth every penny!
