This NEEBRC 7KG servo is definitely a step (or two) up from the usual budget servos I've been using. In a package the same size as my SG90s, this little unit puts out roughly 5x the torque, has zero detectable backlash, and an apparent dead zone of no more than 0.4 degrees. The metal gearing really shows in its reliable strength and positioning accuracy, and while it is slightly louder than a plastic gearbox, it's negligible - nowhere near objectionable. Speed is not this servo's strong point, but it's no slouch; it takes about a second to swing through a 180 degree arc (which seems to be about half what was advertised, but my measurements were unscientific), though if that's the tradeoff for the power delivered in this small package, I'm all for it. If nothing else, that reduced speed helps to reduce the jerk on connected components. I haven't attempted to max out the torque on this, but it's been easily handling lesser loads with only modest warmth in the gearbox.In the end, this seems to be a very capable and compact servo. It's definitely on the spendy end (~24 USD at the time of this review), when compared to similarly spec'ed products, so I'd recommend some comparative shopping to ensure the value proposition meets your needs.
