First, no instructions for this product it was for their weed eater. However, I was still able to easily put together. After a full charge, the battery indicator only showed 80%. You have to have it running in order to see the numbers. On my trial run, it only showed 00% o the indicator. It had some trouble digging into fresh ground, but did OK on some mole hills. The switch is either on or off so you cant control the speed. I am not going to rototil my garden with this, but it is useful for weeding around my pumpkin patches, tomatoes etc.. Good for doing spot planting. Small and light weight so my wife can use it. It did kick dirt all on my feet and would benefit from having a depth bar in back to keep it from wanting to run away. Quality is decent and works well enough for small jobs around the yard without having to bring out the big tiller.

I needed a tiller and was planning on buying an electric one but then saw this one. I doubted the quality, power, and runtime of a battery operated tiller but decided to give it a try.And after receiving the product, I must say, I'm surprisingly happy. It's durable plastic and metal body, steel gears, and is heavy. The weight will be good when tilling.Has a battery display, and a usual safety switch to start. Is still colder and I haven't used it in my lawn but I'm at least prepared for the spring, can't wait to use it before I overseed.I'm still not sure how long the battery will last, and the product description. so that's something I'll have to update after usage. Has some scratches on the product from the blades, but I didn't mind that, after all I'll use it in lawn and it's going to get beaten anyway. I'll be okay if it does the job.

This cordless tiller cultivator seems like a solid choice for small-scale gardening. Assembly took about 20 minutes, and once put together, it feels sturdy and well-made.It’s lightweight enough to be easy to maneuver, but still has enough power to break up compact soil without much effort. The battery capacity display is a helpful touch, so you’re not left guessing how much charge is left. With 11-inch tilling width and 8-inch depth, it works well for raised beds, flower gardens, or prepping a vegetable patch.I gave it a test run on a small patch of ground, and it handled the job well. It seems like it’ll be great for routine soil cultivation and keeping the garden beds fresh. It’s also cordless, which is a huge win—no dragging extension cords around the yard!My takeaway: If you need a compact, battery-powered tiller that’s easy to use and store, this one seems like a solid option. It’s simple, efficient, and does what it’s supposed to without unnecessary hassle. 🌱✨

Just disappointing all around. I had high hopes initially. Assembly was quick and easy. It feels good in the hands. After installing the battery and giving it a quick power up to test it feels quite powerful. However once you put it to work a lot of that power seems to vanish. I don't know if I am doing anything wrong but the battery capacity display does not work at all. No combination of safety and power trigger makes it light up. The blades are held on with a single cotter pin.I was at least hoping for a functional tool at this price but I am afraid it's just not there. I think with some improvements they would have a great product, but nowhere near there yet.

It's a little early in the season for me to start prepping the garden area, I had planned to wait until I was ready to get to it before using/rating this product; after I saw it getting considerable negative feedback I decided to give it a brief tryout. To begin with the included instructions are wrong. They're for a completely different tool. It's actually fairly easy to assemble after you refer to the online instructions in the product listing. It all fit together well. No issues there once I found the correct instructions. You will need a small Phillips head screwdriver and (possibly) a pair of pliers for the cotter pins. I have issues with arthritis in my hands so I got one of my nephews to tighten up the support handle as well as the connecting clamp for the two long bar/handle pieces. Both are intended to be hand-tightened and don't require an excessive amount of strength so the average person should be fine. The battery was almost fully charged on arrival. I went ahead and charged it to full power (power cord included). The power display on the handle is a very basic digital readout.I have a small garden area that I always use for seasonal flowers -- the ground has been worked considerably in previous years. It's basically mulch and enriched soils that have been compacted by winter weather. Not rough, hard or untreated ground at all. Once you break through the top inch or so it's pretty easy going. This rototiller really struggled hard. We only used it for about fifteen minutes in an area that's about three feet by twelve feet. Not much ground at all, and probably not enough to give it an honest test, I just wanted an idea of how it was going to work. It got the job done but it used a lot of battery power. Maybe that's common for rechargeable battery operated rototillers (?), I don't know. I let my nephew borrow it to take out to his ranch property and try it on some harder ground that has never been worked just to see how it does (give the tool a proper workout). I will update the review after he gets back to me.I received this through the Amazon Vine program so it didn't cost me anything, if I had paid for it I would be disappointed. I don't think the price matches the product quality. I'm rating this at 3-stars simply because it *does* work.BOTTOM LINE: Not much power. I think there are more options available in the same price range that are a much better value. I don't recommend this product.EDIT: A few days after posting this review the seller reached out to me and offered to replace the product free of charge. I declined their offer but it was a nice gesture.
