How to Install?
Turn the chair on its side. Take the old base off by unscrewing the 4 bolts on the plate and removing the base. Then, line up the new base and bolt it on in its place.

After dealing with quite a squeak in my kid's recliner for months, I decided to order this replacement base to see if it would solve the issue. This seat base is all-metal construction, and comes completely assembled, ring, swivel base and all. All you need to do is tip your chair over, unscrew four screws and mount up the new base. While this base was a different diameter than the one that came with the nursery swivel recliner, it fits great and the squeak is gone! Very pleased with this base, it's so much less expensive to replace this component than the whole chair!
