Pin that holds the two pieces broke as soon as I tried opening the tool. The outer ring of the tool is not the correct size making it hard to use after I had to fix the pin. Doesn't work. Save your money

I put this at 5star so I hope this reaches new buyers, this product IS AWFUL. how you see it is how I got it. Didn’t get to use it. It was very stiff opening and it just snapped.. I’m a tech and was gonna use for ford turbo coolant hard lines but nope. Don’t trust the “amazing” reviews.

If I didn't have a lathe, this would have been unusable. I had to chuck it in my lathe and file down the OD on the tangs so it would fit inside the fitting. Unfortunately, it was easy to take off the peened over end of the rivet so I need to be careful to keep the hinge from sliding off the rivet when I use it.I should have spent the extra few dollars and bought the Lisle brand tool.

I used this on my 2014 Equinox to flush the transition. I feel like this tool did its job great especially for under 20 bucks. This was not an easy fitting to remove. I Tried twisting this toolinto the jiffy lockand it was tough keeping it together because my transmission line was in so tight. It got the job done great though and held up. Just use it correctly and keep it together.

Lost my original tool but this one was way nicer and solid. Only change I would address is the little pin would “snap together” but it works as is

The OD of the insert was too large to even fit inside the connectors. It seems to be build sturdy but had to be filed down to even fit inside the connector as well as the slots to release the retention rings weren’t even properly aligned to the old connectors that we removed or the new ones being installed. Ended up just cutting the tubes with an oscillating tool and replacing the tubes, connectors and all.

It didn't work. It fell apart. It was too thick to fit up in the fitting so I had to grind it down. After I ground it down, it worked great. Easy to use.
