Disassembly step
1. Prepare the center drill bit and hex wrench
2. Rotating hex wrench
3. Hold the top of the drill and gently rotate to unscrew the outer casing.
4. If you need to change the drill bit, just remove the broken drill bit and install the replacement drill bit.

One of the boys broke out of the bag and the other one of the same size was cross threaded luckily if I put one two broken bits together I think I'll get one I ordered this set for the 9/64 size and of course those were the ones so hopefully the one I fixed holds up but I would recommend spending a little more for higher quality

Work really well. I used them to keep center on bolts that have broken off. Only thing that would help me is if the shank was left hand threaded. But other than that they work really well. I put left hand drill bits on them. They are easy to swap out. Good value for the money.

I'm a carpenter and use them for work, they center in the hinges like they are supposed to but after drilling 4 holes (7/16) the spring compressed and the bit doesn't retract back, it came with 2 of that size trying the other one it did the same thing. If it wasn't for that it would have gotten a better review.

Some of the smaller bits had metal left in the hole the drill bit is supposed to come out of when you plug down into wood. Took a little bit of patience to clean up also some of the guide holes are not centered. Other than those issues works great.

I use these all of the time and they work great. Plus you get extra drill bits and a punch. No complaints here.

Received them and haven't used them yet, but they appear to be of good quality. I do like the white letters on the black barrels, making their sizes easy to read. It was nice to have a set of drills in them already with a separate set of drills included in the kit. A quick test of the sliding part (that keeps the hole centered in a hole) indicates that it's not as smooth as a higher quality tool would be. It could be that there's still some oil or other material on the parts preventing it from smoothly, but this tool certainly feels like it will get the job done for the handful of times per year that I need it.
