The material and construction are good, but it is not as bright as it it looks in photos. Real world use even in dim room light is just adequate.

We used this star on one of our outdoor Christmas trees. Although we added more lights we loved how it looked in the arrangement of evergreens we have outside.

I wanted a Moravian star for a while now because of my German heritage and you see these stars everywhere in Germany and Scandinavia during Christmas time. They are quite expensive in the US so I was happy when I found this very reasonable priced one. It’s not the very best quality, but seems to be durable enough. It has been hanging on my front porch for a months and we even had a winter storm and it didn’t break. It was easy to set up, took me maybe 5 minutes total to fold it and hang it and hit the timer. (Timer worked flawless.) It’s lightweight enough where I could use a little stick-on adhesive hook. Of course a nail would do too.Only thing that could be better is maybe that it could be a bit brighter. But it’s still a nice product. Maybe I’ll buy another one for next season.

Timer operation doesn't work. Turns off after 6? Hours but won't come back on AND batteries depleted after each use. Worthless. Also arrived smashed

durable, easy to set up, affordable star with multiple purposes. We put on top Christmas tree and will hang under porch all year.

Pro: sturdy, easy assembly, weather proofCon: used brand new batteries and the light bulb is already dim/dull. It was only bright for three evenings. Will be returning.

Fresh batteries yet the star doesn't light this year. Not sure what the problem was, but when I changed out the "new" batteries with 3 "newer" ones (from the same package) it lit up fine. Really easy to assemble and it looks pretty at night.

Just remember if your putting this on a tree or outside you have to physically turn it on because its battery operated
