I saw a youtube video in a vet's office where they were trying to put drops in a cat's eye. The person wearing the gloves held the cat from the back while the drops were administered. I was impressed with how well this worked that I just had to buy a pair. It saves getting scratched up. They are good quality gloves.

I always wait a while before I review. I need to tell everyone that this gloves are the best. I bought them so I no longer have to burn myself in my firearms when adding wood to my wood burning stove..they go all the way to my elbows. I really like the protection they provide

What mainly attracted me to these gloves is their length - my current (worn out) gloves only come a little way up my forearm, and I've never been comfortable with their level of protection. These gloves come up past my elbow, the leather is thick, and the protection seems ideal. Even though the leather is thick, it is soft and pliable, so they are as comfortable as welding gloves can be. The lining seems like it will hold up well also - I expect to get good service out of these gloves for a good long time.

These are amazing not to thick so that you can feel what's in your hands. Yet keeps the welding sparks off your arms. Great quality leather welding gloves.

Very poorly put together. The thin lining(very poor quality)for the fingers hanging on literally by threads!It is costing me US $50 per pair to open them up & add a proper heat resistant lining.A total rip off first really bad experience on Amazon

I have a large wood-burning fireplace insert. These gloves work fantastic, sometimes I accidentally even get my hands into live fire flames when loading the wood and my fingers don't even feel hot. I try to be cautious and move quickly though, so don't interpret this review as me saying that you can put your hands in fire. The length of the gloves is perfect too. Sometimes in the past I would accidentally touch a steel hot door of my fireplace with an exposed elbow -- no more! Highly recommended!
