I know bulkhead fittings have their purpose but if you need to quick plumb a pipe into just about anything these are just awesome. And reusable!!! Better than I expected them to be and they are standing up well in the heat and direct sunlight. Much cheaper than bulkhead fittings and these are quality genuine uniseals. If you need help installing them or for some tips and tricks go see rob bob on yt on any of his filter builds. I love these things!

I had one dry up and crack after 2 years and made a nice mess in my basement (hydroponic system).Could have been only a bad one, all three others are still holding strong.I would have given them 5 stars if it wasn't for this single failure.

So far so good, It was easy to install as long as you used a sander or a file to round the edge down of your pvc pipe, or to thing the edge of the pipe it make it much easier the to force it in. Remember only the edge or tip of the pipe. Add a little Vaseline you don’t cut the seals causing it to leak. seems to be of good quality, work perfect but only time will tell

I liked this product because of the rim size. It is a tight fit and i had minimal leakage at first but now no leakage.

Here's the trick: 1) Boil the seals 2) use a Dremel/grinder to taper down the ends of the pipe and 3) use soapy water.I did all of these things (as suggested in other reviews) and installation was pretty easy. It still required a bit of muscle. But I was able to install each seal/pipe in about 15 seconds (After the prep). The seals are tight, no leakage. I used a 3" hole bit to install these 2" seals. Worked great!

Working like a champ. I used these for my hydroponics setup. Drilled proper holes and they installed great. Now to put pvc I recommend tapering down the edges of the pvc pipe and putting some lubricant on or to get it installed. If you dont you will have a heck of a time.

Many reviews tell you to use soapy water to help install the pipe into the Uniseals. It does help, but the 2" seals are a serious chore!! I resorted to putting the pipe into the front lip of the seal and then pressing the seal into the hole. Trying to push the pipe through inevitably pushed the hole seal through the hole. You have to be perfectly at a 90 degree angle to get it done and that is hard to do.Bottom line: These don't leak and work, but very hard to install

This is so much faster and less expensive than a bulkhead adapter that I am sorry I spent all the money on those. The tank adapter is somewhat difficult to install, be sure to have a good quality lubricant on hand to assist and make sure your hole is clean in the tank. Forming a taper on the end of the pipe worked wonders during assembly. Two thumbs up, an economical and foolproof way to add a pipe to a tank.
