This controller made playing Nintendo 64 games on Nintendo online much easier. Using a switch controller was frustrating. This helps a lot.

At first, I was able to pair the controller with the receiver which would be a solid red color, but it was never detected by multiple emulators on multiple computers. After further research, I found out that it wasn't being detected by USB 3.0 ports (ports with blue), only 2.0 (black port). As soon as I unplugged something else that was using this port, it was detected. Make sure you are using a USB 2.0 port.

En general es un muy buen control, botones y stick funcionan muy bien. El enlazar el control al swith es fácil. El único pero es que si dejas de usarlo por un tiempo debes conectarlo nuevamente, pero es fácil y rápido.

Purchaced with intention to pair on nintendo switch. Was a little bit of a pain to pair but it did pair. Worked as designed even has the rumble function, and worked well with gameplay on the switch. The internal rechargeable battery lasted for more than 2.5 hrs of nonstop gameplay. (Still had power when I was done playing) Nice controller!

If you're looking for a good wireless n64 controller with the classic Trident style (most wireless ones these days are modern)Then this bad boy is for you.Feels extremely close to an original controller but the joystick is modern. No more loose stick syndrome here!Easy to sync up to the switch, PC or n64 itself. There are only 2 videos on YouTube about this controller so I'm assuming it's fairly new.Definitely going to be picking up a second one as this controller is so good, I'm afraid of it actually not being available in the future for whatever reason, so I'm stocking up.I suggest you do the same.Godspeed.

Works fine, except for the Z button. No matter how light or hard I press it, it doesn't do anything. Kinda blows.

Una chulada tanto para la nintendo 64 como para la switch es muy fácil de conectar (en la switch solo hacer lo que dice en el manual) se siente identifico al original de n64 solo que el joystick es mil veces mejor lo adore

Disappointed, as I followed the hype and recommendations for this controller. Many people have had success, while many others are reporting connectivity issues. In my case, the included USB receiver lit up once, and did not connect. Now there is no light indication and does not connect.I was looking to use this with my Mister FPGA via the USB receiver, now I have to try to find a N64 SNAC adapter to see if it'll work that way. But for now, It is just sitting there looking pretty. So anyway, I didn't even get to test it, and my return window is closed. What a bummer. Maybe you'll have better success, but be aware.

Quick response time and feels great! Just like an original N64 controller but with the freedom of wireless!

I took a gamble, not knowing much about this brand, other than they weren't *particularly* well rated, but the reviewer below seemed to really like it, so I figured for $33, what could possibly go wrong? So far, nothing. I even mapped it correctly for my dinky little Kinhank Console King X, which I thought might be problematic, but it worked flawlessly. It's not a slick, modern joystick like in the Retro Fighters 64Brawler, but what feels essentially like an old (but brand new) Nintendo 64 controller, that can work on nearly anything. It's definitely a nostalgic feeling, just like sitting in front of the TV back in the 90's with your trusty 64 controller..except it's wireless (with no lag that I've been able to detect). The buttons feel pretty nice; not exquisite, but much better than a madcatz or pelican knockoff from the day. It's really fun to hold and use one again after, oh, twenty some odd years. It's not made *quite* like an Xbox or playstation controller, but it's really nice for what it is. Dude, Mario 64 with an actual original style controller! Buy it if you're considering one. It's worth the money in my book, and I've been playing old games since the dawn of the ages.

First thing I will say about this is the battery was completely drained when it arrived so I would say plug it in first and let it charge to make sure there are no battery issues. I left it over night charging just to be on the safe side before trying to set it up any further. The setup feature is not too difficult. My minor complaint is that the manual does not explain what the "legacy" and "all star" function really does in better detail. I have not really used that function too much but it would be nice to know what those mean in the manual. The controller is pretty nice for a wireless n64 controller. It is able to connect to the switch for those N64 retro games on the store but you do need to do some controller setup but the instructions are fairly easy to follow. It definitely feels "cheaper" than the original n64 controller. Because there are less components in it, It feels lighter. It is missing things like the slot for the "rumble pack". The one I got has both USB and the plug in adapter for the n64 so you get the best of both worlds which is nice. I am able to connect this to my switch via USB or my PC. I also like that I can use it with my OG N64 from afar so now I do not have to rely on my wire extension. From my setup, I did not have to really do anything to pair to the USB/controller receiver The controller does have light indicator to show what control number it is on your switch which is great but I do not really have more than one of these controllers to use as it requires additional USB ports which I do not really have on my switch. When comparing to the n64 original controller, it does have the same form factor as the n64 controller although the "joy stick" is removable to make it easy to change out. There is a spare one but I have yet to pull out the original joystick and replace it. I am not sure what would cause it to wear down but at least you do not have to take the thing apart in order to replace that stick. It does not drift or stick which is nice after playing smash brothers for quite sometime. The color for the most part looks similar to the gray but it looks SLIGHTLY lighter. Again you can tell it is cheaper material. The "rumble" pack slot was changed out in order to house the receiver piece of it I assume. On the other end there is a slot so you can plug in the accessories into your n64 to play it which is nice. Only thing I did not try was the rumble pack because I did not want my rumble pack messing up my n64. I do like that I am able to plug in my other accessories and they actually work. The buttons are not too bad. They do take time to break in in my opinion. as they were a bit stiff. I am able to press the buttons without issues. They register n my PC but I sometimes have to do mapping on my emulator. The batteries on this is rechargeable but again I had to recharge it when it first came it as it was completely drained. Once charged, It last for quite sometime without needing to plug in. You can run the controller while it is being charged as well if you need to which is an added bonus. The type c cable cable provided is okay and you standard length. Overall I like that this gives you the best of both worlds of the switch and the original n64. The controller is pretty nice and not bad. It does not have the same quality in terms of feel and material as the n64 controller but it still works. The receivers are easy to pair to if you need to do that again. It did not require it. I like you can play n64 console from afar. The only thing I will say is that the instructions could be better and explain what certain modes are without needing to go to the website to see what it all means.
