This is advertised as a 48hr timer but I’m not sure how or why you would set it in a 48hr period. It didn’t come with any instructions so you have to refer to the listing details or figure it out by trial and error. It also blocks the top plug if you put it in the bottom plug. It’s better suited for an open area because you have the depth of the timer plus the additional depth of the plug so anything placed in front of it will stick out from the wall about 4 inches.

There are occasions when I prefer an old school mechanical timer over some of the smart options. One of the limitations of the smart options is access to 2.4 wifi. At my work, not only do we not have 2.4, the firewalls make adding any devices impossible. The problem is that I like to keep a few aquariums in my space. Enter the mechanical timer. Works perfectly and it can carry quite the capacity at 15A. Easy to use and reliable to within 15 minutes which is perfectly fine for operating my aquarium lights. Setup is a breeze and it's plug and play at that point. No issues whatsoever.

I was really excited to get this due to its low profile. The prongs are located at the bottom of the plug, meaning you can only use this in the upper outlet or else you lose a plug. Due to the “bump out” on the prongs I was able to get another cord and use my second outlet without any obstruction. It would be great if you were able to rotate the prongs to have a choice on the outlet you plug into, as the dial sticks out about 3 inches past the outlet cover. Will update as needed

Really straightforward timer that works well for hydroponic systems. Super convenient for when you don't want something that connects to wifi and has too many bells and whistles.

This is working great so far. I hope it continues to function as designed. It is easy to set up the ON/OFF times by pushing down on the black time switches. Down is ON and up is OFF. Rotate the dial to match the current time. There is a red ON/OFF switch on the side that can be used to manually turn off the power to the time-controlled outlet.There were no instructions or any type of documentation included with this timer. I have a similar timer made by a different company, but it stopped working, so this is the replacement. I was able to figure out how to operate this new timer only because of the similarities to the previous timer.

Your basic power timer. These mechanical ones are the most reliable for aquariums and things where it really needs to just work.. Great value for the money.

First this comes with NO directions at all. So trying to figure it out is next to impossible. I'm not sure the reviewers that thought that this was intuitive, but it certainly is not. It has a timer, two outlets and an on/off switch. I plugged it into the wall, set the timer, plugged a lamp in and turned it on. My lamp turned on. And never turned off.The time is not accurate, the functionality is worthless and I wouldn't recommend at all.

This timer does exactly what I need it to do. I hate coming home to a dark house so I use this timer to turn my lamp on and off every evening. It is easy to set the times and I haven't had any problems at all.
