The gripper grabs the perfect size shaft, small or larger shafts will me much more difficult. Material is stiff so getting a good grip is tough. 1/4” to 5/16” you will be okay, micro or large wood may be a bit harder.

This falls under the category of one of those items that I didn't know existed, but now I don't know how I didn't look into something like this sooner. If you are an archer, you know how hard it can be to get your arrows out of certain targets. This grip makes it so much easier. Plus, two of them for the price is a great deal. Definitely recommend.
