Should eggs be stored pointed end down?

It will be better that eggs be stored pointed end down. This allows the air pocket between the inner and outer shell membranes to remain at the top, where it is less likely to rupture. This reduces the risk of the egg spoiling.

These egg cartons get the job done formatting and delivering eggs. They are plain, which is ok as I am mostly concerned that they are reusable and recyclable.

The Good:This is as good if not better than the wallmart egg cartons you get from the grocer section. Does the job tremendously.the Bad:Nothing bad, except for those that don't return the cartons - pet peeve. The Ugly:Nothing ugly to mention here.

The cartons are sturdy enough for cardboard, but unfortunately the compartments aren't big enough to hold the eggs we get from our hens. They are grade large and extra large. We do have Banty hens we can use these for, so they will get used.

We use these for our farm and selling chicken eggs. They hold up great and we are getting several uses out of them.

These egg crates are nicer than the ones you get when you buy your eggs in the market. Sturdy. Plenty big for the big laying girls. They come with cute little stickers too! Awwwww
