Upgraded the car to use 20V batteries. Soon the gearbox wore out and this was a better replacements. Not sure how durable. Will update reviews over time.

If your power wheel will only drive with one wheel, and only in "FAST" mode, it's likely either a burned out motor, or bad connection to that motor. In slow mode, and in reverse, the motors are wired in series so if one of them has an open circuit (bad motor or connection) it won't operate in those modes.

After installing these motors, my two oldest children took one turn each, totaling less than three minutes. Then it stopped working, and the motors smelled burnt up. Voltage was still getting to them, but they were not operating. I received a refund and took my business to another vendor.
