So, we tend to use build plates differently than most people.When we're mass producing something, we'll fill a build plate with a print, and then pull the build plate and swap another in, while the first one is still cooling. (This works ok with PLA and PETG, but ABS/ASA/PC, I recommend leaving the parts and the sheet in the enclosure to gradually cool, so as to avoid some warping)As such, we tend to need a lot of build plates.This one is sort of a mid-way between the $8 generic plates, and the $45 official Prusa ones. It's not quite as thick of a gauge of steel as the OEM, but it's also not as thin/flexible as the cheap ones, either.Overall, I have zero issues with it.But, if I had to nit pick, I'd point out the sheet seems to have had a design flaw with it's powder coating, and I suspect that's because it was sprayed one way, and then perhaps held in place for the 'HICTOP' log to be sprayed on it.. while the powder coating wasn't fully hardened/cured/adhered. So, from a front angle, the area near the logo is a bit of a different texture.The other thing that I DON'T like, but is the same as the OEM ones, is the back end of the sheet is notched out from screw to screw on the heatbed. I actually PREFER the ones that are smaller notched, as aligning the plate is a bit easier.Regardless, it's not a huge deal, and I DO still recommend this one. It's been in our rotation for almost a month now, and we've had no issues with it.

If you are having a problem with first layer adhesion, this solves it. However, I am actually having trouble removing some of the brim material and other single layer stuff. Just incredibly sticky. Really thick heavy metal. Maybe like a mm or two wider than my Prusa Mk3 3.5 print bed but really it fits very well.

This textured PEI sheet is the right size for a Prusa Mk3s. It's not a thick as the original Prusa textured sheet, but it's thicker than other generic sheets I've ordered. It works well when new. Hopefully it proves to be durable.
