Installed in my Ariens 54" Riding Lawn Mower with the Kohler engine. The Kohler branded Voltage Regulator was over $50. This knock off was 1/5th of the cost. I was a little weary of it but though if it doesn't work, I'll send it back to Amazon and get a refund. Installed it and have mowed my lawn twice so far. Seems to work. Even if it doesn't last the 10 years that the original did (not saying it won't but you never know) I can rebuy this 5 times.

Don't buy unit failed 40 days after purchase the mower wasn't even used 5 hours before it failed
