Mots of the unboxing that I have seen on comparable items, they are already put together and have a better pickup tube. I have heard real bad things about this style of pickup tube getting clogged. The instructions for this product suck! They are very lacking on everything. The screws don't fit in the holes when mounting the top, they are too loose. I didn't have hardware for the top chain where it mounts to the side of the cabinet. MY cabinet has extra holes and gaps at each corner when viewed from the top. I took the front completely back off to see if I could fix it and I could not. Would also be nice to have a port for a shop vac to connect to. There is no kind of a dust filter for the port on the back. The top bows in the middle on the very front. Tried to return because I think there is something wrong with cabinet and I would have to pay return shipping, probably over 100 dollars. I bought this in confidence and wont buy anything big like this again off of Amazon.

It arrived on schedule; came as described. Works fine. Only downside is I had to assemble it and some of the screws were tiny and hard to hold.

I'm happy with the box over all. Yes there is the assembly and fit issues one might expect when dealing with sheet metal and the Chinese but it's a good box. The light inside didn't work. The power supply was supposed to provide 12 vols dc but was showing 20 volts plus on my meter and the light never came on, maybe burned out from the over voltage. I don't like where the light was placed anyway, on the back wall where it can light up the back side of your work you can't see. I'll figure out something else. Maybe an external light shining down through the window. If you can manage the small problems I say OK, buy it.

Fast shipping, great quality for the price.Easy to assemble.The bad:Screws that hold the top glass door were too small and didnt grab. (Easy fix)The sand intake line easily kinks at different angles of use.Overall:I'd buy this again!

I bought this to clean up some small rusty parts on a truck I’m fixing up. To start when I put it together it was missing 4 small brackets that hold the top 4 corners together. I placed tape over the bolt holes for these brackets so that dust wouldn’t leak from them. I have used it for maybe 30 minutes at the time of the picture. Dust leaks out all around the lid that seems to be secure on its seal. I bought the 8lb box of aluminum oxide that Amazon recommended as often bought with this and you can barely see the parts inside even after replacing the protective screens and clean the glass. The bottom funnel isn’t enough to funnel the media to the bottom for the pick up tube to get it. It builds up in the corners and you constantly have to shake the cabinet to get it down. I thought i would add more media so that it would have to go down to it but that just made it way more dusty inside. My whole garage has a dusty haze in the air. It cleans the parts up well but not worth the trouble of not being able to see what you’re doing, shaking the media down and dust everywhere.

It's fine, and it's cheap. And it works and is not that hard to get together. Yes, some of the metal is bent and some screws are missing, but if you are sandblasting your own stuff, you probably have some fasteners around and can work it all out. In my case, I needed a rubber mallet, a file, a bench grinder, and a few screws and nuts. It has a basic role to play, and it does it just fine.
