The Retainbre Carriage Bolts and Nuts Kit is a handy fastener kit for use in the garage and shop. 1/4" is a versatile size and has good strength. The bolts have smooth machined threads, and the nuts and washers are also good quality. These fasteners are up to the task!

Did not notice any burrs on the threads, and was fairly smooth threading the bolt onto the bolt. It seems strong enough, but I didn't really try to bend it. Strong enough for my use. Now, to go buy some washers for this
