For some reason it was really hard to find 2" black horsehair braid WITH the gathering thread. This company pulled through, and the shipping was quick! Thanks!

Wanted the skirt portion to stand out and hold its shape for the dress. I used the invisible on a glitter tulle as well as on the satin under skirt. Both were on a circle skirt hem, and had bought the horsehair with the thread for adjustment for this purpose. Worked like a charm, couldn’t see the horsehair from a distance nor up close and worked as I had hoped!

Helped my heavy skirt keep its shape. This is my first time working with horsehair braid though so I'm not sure 100% how it compares to other but it did the job well.

This works well for giving hems a little stiffness and curve for swing style dresses. I didn't have any trouble using it. I might try a 1 1/2 inch wide next time. I don't think I really needed the 2 inch wide braid. It gives my 50s style dress a little swing so when I wear it with a crinoline, it looks fuller.

Great price, nice and firm and, yes, it came with the "gathering" thread, unlike some other brands of 1" wide horsehair. Just what I needed to give some kick to my 1950s-style skirt.

I got it earlier than expected and it was just as writtenMy dress that it was used for is perfect fluffs out and just the right sizeOnly downside is when it is cut it frays and is super sharp so be careful
