I guess these are the right seeds. They're just packaged in a white envelope with no date information, no lot number, no season information, no planting information, no origin information. I haven't counted them but there's no way there are 2500 seeds here. They also seem pretty expensive for a common seed.

This is a small little pack of strawberries. I have planted them and am eager to see them grow. I will update as I see strawberries! Even though the pack is small, it says there are 2500+ seeds.

After trying many different methods, these seeds did not germinate. 0% germination rate…. WorthlessI’m glad I was able to pick up some live strawberry plants for the same price as these seeds from my local Walmart.

The 2500+ strawberry seeds for planting are a great choice for home gardeners looking to grow their own fresh, sweet strawberries. These non-GMO, organic seeds produce healthy and flavorful berries, perfect for backyard gardens or container planting. With a high germination rate, they sprout well in different climates, making them an excellent option for beginners and experienced gardeners alike. Whether for snacking, baking, or smoothies, these homegrown strawberries are a delicious and rewarding addition to any garden. That said, it’s a bit hard to believe that there are actually 2500 seeds in such a tiny pack. The quantity seems incredibly small for the advertised amount, but I haven't planted them yet, so I can't confirm how well they will grow. Hopefully, they will live up to expectations and produce a great harvest.

3/12/2025Received the package a few days ago and have started 6 new pods in my hydroponic system with 3 to 6 seeds in each pod. The seeds of a strawberry are quite small, so I do believe that I received around 2500 seeds in that small packet. Plus or minus a few dozen will not matter, in my view.Starting from seed takes a lot longer before you see fruit, but I wanted to see how easy it was to get new plants from seed.Seeds take up to 6 weeks to germinate, so I'll update after I see sprouts.

This will be my first attempt to grow strawberries from seeds (I usually go for root stock) I am crossing my fingers. If you get these, you'll have greater success if you take the time to study up on growing strawberries from seeds in YOUR particular area of the world. I have grow lights and a seed starting kit I can use to start the seeds now and then transfer to the garden as it warms up. Perhaps you could start these in a wine barrel or other planter.I have a lot of Survival Seeds plants in my garden and they have done very well, especially my container plants. It's a great company with a dedication to heirloom, non GMO vegetables and fruits. These germinate in my area in about 10-14 days.

So far so good...they've been planted in an area of our garden and already are starting to show signs of growth from the seeds. Will have to see what they look like in a few months but it's very encouraging so far.

Item description says 2500 seeds. There's no way there are 2500 seeds in the tiny credit card sized packet I just received.
