Needed for some Arduino shields

I bought these because I tried 3 different brand relay shield, and they all had pins too short and would hit the top of the Ethernet jack on an Ethernet shield. I need the relay board to always be on top, because I need to be able to attach wires to its relay terminals without taking everything apart, and that is the only way possible. I needed a few of these so I figured I would just get this set and just use them for extensions, and then someday if I want to make a prototype shield, I'll have them on hand. They really worked great for what I intended, and I had no problems with them, the pins and sockets match up with everything and the connections are secure and reliable.

As others have pointed out these headers often have some bent pins. The pins are quite thin and bend easily. I took a little time after they arrived to straighten the pins and pack them back in the container so that when I go to use them I won't need to straighten the pins at that time. I haven't actually soldered them into the motor shields that I intend to use them on. I can imagine that it will be a little bit tricky to get this many pins all lined up to fit in the sockets on my Arduino PCB. I expect that it will take some time to slip them in without bending any of the pins. It's hard to beat the price of these, though.

These are stamped fork stack through female headers. They are certainly usable for Arduino development. They are NOT wire-wrap square post headers so don't expect that level of rigidity. Some pins will be slightly bent from shipping in bulk. Pins are stamped out of a sheet of metal so some edges are rough. At the price I believe this is acceptable.

It has plenty of headers, but the 2x3 are not stackable. Also I rated it lower because the pins are very flimsy and several were bent when they arrived. Over all it's a good value, but be careful with the pins. So if you're really careful and don't remove the board much, then it should be fine.
