much sturdier than expected-good thing. I judge scope by its ability to focus and reading mirage. It does both relatively effortlessly. It has huge focus turret which is nice especially with as much zoom capability. I use it for pistol targeting shooting and it picks up .22 holes very well to include the carbon ring surrounding the hole itself (for those who know-u know). Best dang spotting scope under $100. Highly recommended.

The reviews on this are mostly positive, especially "for the price" so I decided to give it a try. It's got a really nice feel to it. The focus knob is in a good place, and it has a mount so I can use my own tripod. Good magnification small package... would be a great scope if it would focus. Now, if I just wanted to know "what that thing is over there" this would do it. I can read the neighbor's license plate, even though the letters are doubled. And at this price I don't expect crystal-clear images, but no matter what I did the image was always doubled, either horizontally or vertically. And balancing the two directions just made it blurry. So, ok, any manufacturer can have a bad one, so I ordered a replacement. Same issue. Waited for better light to try again on a nice sunny day and I can say that when the sun is shining perpendicular to your line of sight it seems to be better but the double image is still there. Right eye, left eye, camera eye, it's always there. I strongly considered trying a 3rd time because it fits everything so well. It would be a perfect spotting scope. But I think I'm going to try something else. Maybe you'll have better luck. Some people definitely do from the other reviews.EDIT: After I wrote this, and obviously before shipping, I took the scope out at night and tried it on the moon. The image was reasonable at low magnification. I was not able to focus on Jupiter to be anything more than a bright area in the view. I also saw some turkeys in the field across the road and was able to identify the blue head. The last scope I had was very similar to this, but it had alt/az tracking knobs. I didn't realize what a difference that would make for celestial viewing. That one had a crummy tripod, and was one reason I was so hopeful about this one since I could use my own tripod with this one.

I purchased the Visionking 25-75×70 spotting scope For the money I didn't expect very much but I was pleasantly surprised the scope is mostly for the shooting range out to two hundred yards and this scope will easily be good out to 1,000 yards and can see bullet holes at 600 no problem. I have had many spotting scopes over the 30 year's of shooting and ten years ago a scope this good would've cost hundreds more so don't worry about it not having good glass or nonsense like that I went through it and great field of view no blue anything no funny marks or hairs even up to 75x very much worth the money and I wouldn't say that if it wasn't true. I was just looking for an inexpensive replacement for my expensive scope because it was getting damaged going back and forth to the range and this scope was the answer I was looking for.

Very good for its price range. Depth of field is very shallow however and the highest magnification is not very useful. Overall very good for what it is intended to be used for which is on the range to see bullet holes.

At this price I figured I would give it a shot. It turned out to be pretty clear and I am impressed with the magnification. For sighting in rifles it will work great and I can see holes in the target at 300 yards fairly easy. Haven't looked at targets past 300 yrds, but took it deer hunting and it was great to see deer even around 500 yards. The 75x magnification starts to get a little dark, but it is expected. If I were a guide in Montana I might want something better, but for Georgia it is a bargain. The picture I attached is a little buck around 300 yards with the scope on 50x power that I took with my phone.

I tried several less expensive scopes, trying to find one I can use at the range and for casual wildlife or lunar gazing. For the price, this scope delivers a clear image and has quality construction. All more inexpensive scopes will loose their sharpness at the higher power but this scope had the clearest image, with some fringing, at the highest power. It is lightweight and the tripod, while not the most expensive, is actually very good for the price mark. It was very stable on the range table and the handle tightens/loosens easily to adjust your view. At 200 yards I ranged in on a light post in my neighborhood. The image was clear and sharp, and I easily could read the 4-6 inch letters/codes on the post. At the 100 yard range, I could see small .22 caliber holes easily and clearly on the target. For the moon, I only used the 25 power but the image was clear. For higher power lunar gazing, I'd need to try a larger more stable tripod. Overall, this scope delivers as promised, it is well built and for the price (again this is not your high end optics) it is more than adequate for your casual range or outdoor wildlife viewing needs. 5 stars!

My objective was to use this scope for target only and be able to see shots on white paper at 300 yds. I was looking for a scope that did not break the bank. This scope does the job. Light weight, easy to focus and I can see on white paper at 200 and 300 yds. The tripod is stronger than the photo would lead you to believe. It gets 4 stars because there is no adjustment on the tripod to roll the scope on it's side. I figured the stand would be a throw away but I think I will keep it and work around this short coming. Great scope for the value, I would recommend this product .

This scope is decent but over 100 yards the image was not clear and I couldn't focus worth a damn at 300 yards. I used this a couple times at the range to zero some rifles for 25-50 yards and brought it to my 300 yard range today; I couldn't see anything clearly at 300 even with a sturdy tripod and moving the focus knob very slowly. The only thing about this that was awesome is the size and weight. Other wise I would say save your money if you're going long distances.
