Long length is ideal for protecting the whole forearm (I'm a 5'10" male) while being flexible enough and the perfect length to not interfere with archery form. The cheaper PU leather isn't the most durable if you experience a lot of string slap but it is a non-issue unless the aesthetics are very important to you. Can't beat the price, especially for a multi pack. 3 adjustable and stretchy straps keep the brace in place effectively and comfortably.

Had a fishy smell out of the box, but airing them out for a day took care of it. Overall, they've held up well so far, and I don't feel the whack of the bow string.

Putting the armed guard on is a little frustrating as the latches are hard to use with one hand. These things also smell really strong of chemicals. Not like a pool toy, more like a chemical factory. I keep them in the bow fishing boat and they seem to work OK but I have to help people put them on.

Very sturdy, well made arm guards that fit our 10+ year old Youth well. Much nicer than the small plastic and sleeve style armguards!

I bought a set of these for an extra pack in my car. They have came in useful on many occasions so far. They fit good across your elbow. I didn't get too hot with them on. However the slide clips will loosen if you bend your elbow.

It’s light and rigid, provides good protection. The edge of the elastic bands were not finished, so I used flame to prevent the edges from fraying. Also it did not have instructions on how to feed the bands into the clamps. Overall, good value.

Haven’t even had it out of the package more than 10 minutes. The fish smell is ungodly horrible. I’m soaking them in vinegar right now, no joke. If they get ruined then so be it. But the smell is worse than three week old garbage full of rotten food
