I do in-field repairs and fabrication with a portable wire feed Lincoln 125 or 140 on a variety of thicknesses and grades of steel. My welds have an entirely different look and feel with this clamp vs the factory Lincoln or Harbor Freight replacement. Effortlessly make solid gapless welds with less cleanup with a solid ground. Definitely would recommend trying this if you’re still running a tin or steel ground. My only complaint is the lack of surface area of contact points. As strong as the grip is, it is also heavy and wants to slide off. I replaced the 5/16 steel bolts and washers with high copper brass and added copper “teeth” similar to the factory Lincoln clamp. I feel like I will have years to experiment and customize before having to think about replacing it. I will post a picture when I design a more presentable mod.

This claim is great, really good surface area, very strong spring that will put good pressure on your work, well made and durable, I highly recommend it.

I use a large woven copper for extra grounding but from time to time, I get a bad ground or not-so-great welding from lack of well established ground.Yes, this clamp is not as easy to open like the cheap ones that come with most welders. But with the great clamping force, it seems to stay on tight and oftentimes, I don't need to use the extra woven copper.I'm happy with this upgrade 👍

Most welder come with a cheap stamped ground clamp, this is a great upgrade, I use it on a primeweld tig225x and it was very easy to install and has good clamping pressure.

welding is much better than before ,a lot less splatter. spring is stiff but i like the clamping power.

Build quality is tops and spring has great strength so clamping force is Perfect. Solid Brass for sure.. just get it and get a proper Earth upgrade. Will last and last. I’m a fan of magnetic earth clamps, but non magnetic metals are a problem so this is just a perfect top quality all rounder.

tres bonne pinces, j'ai acheter 2 de ses pinces une pour une soudeuse sur le 120 volts, qui est beaucoup mieux que l'originale, et une pour un plasma a date tres satisfait tres bonne prise agréablement surpris!

I was attempting to replace a very high quality clamp just like this one. The original one was made in Germany or Europe and was very high quality. This one is made in China and is a "knockoff" of the one I have for my other setup. I took a chance and was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. The cast is of very high quality and it is just as robust as the original one that i have. I would not hesitate to buy this ground clamp again. Nice job China(never thought I'd say that before)!
