I love these halters. I've been using them for many years, because they are sturdy, but they break away safely, if the horse gets one caught on something. Ideal for my pasture horses.

My horses have "horse" size heads and they seem to run a little big. But for the price, the leather is pretty soft and it does the job.

No complaints on quality yet, soft out of the box, this is a thinner leather good for shipping or every day use. Can’t beat the price! Would buy again

Nice, soft leather halter for the price. My horse broke it during turnout within 3 weeks, but he does that to more expensive halters too.

Great product! We have a painted Saddlebred. He’s typically between sizes on halters. Had to punch a hole on the chin strap for his narrow face, but looks perfect on him! We also added a personalized name plate (also purchased on Amazon) above the jaw buckle. Looks very stunning on him!

This is a great everyday halter for a young horse--I don't have to worry if he drags it into the mud or if it gets left on him at turnout. The leather is average quality, a bit on the thin side, and the throat-latch snap is not particularly sturdy, but all of those things are nice for safety/breakaway concerns. The halter is sturdy enough that it will withstand antics, but not so expensive that I'll be upset if he breaks it.

Absolutely the best halter I've even owned. This is a beautiful halter with the gold colored hardware on it. The softness of the leather is equal to very expensive ones. You would think that at this price point it would be stiff and need a lot of oil to soften it up but that just isn't the case. I would purchase this again if I had another horse.
