Says this is recommended for 70cc and up... this is definitely not for a small weight bike or average weight person...no offense to the husky people... I weigh 165lbs and the suspension barley had any play , to stiff of a ride .

this shock was nice quality metal but when i put this shock on my razor sx500 it was way to stiff! when i hit a jump i felt like i was landing on cement. i would not say i wouldn’t recommend it but before you buy make sure you know it is rated for 950lbs

Does fit a 125cc dirtbike but being a 250 lb guy it is not very stiff shock.

Fit perfectly with a few washers and bending one tab for the the oil tank under the seat. Raised the rear quite a lot so I’m happy. Check the before and after pics

I'm 215 pounds so I needed a shock that would support that. I put this on my pocket bike and it held my fat ass, no problem! Even when I bounce on it, it doesn't bottom out! 10/10

Way too much spring for a pit bike. The rear suspension barely flexes at all with a 240 lb rider. Also this spring is beefier and bigger around than found on most pit bikes, so clearance issues may come up.I had trouble adjusting the spring, no sign of anti-seize or grease on the aluminum threads. Other than that, seems really good, as long as you need a VERY strong spring. Can't really speak to the damping of the shock, on account of not being able to compress it!

Excellent/affordable upgrade for adults who want to upgrade their Yamaha PW80.I've had my bike since I was 11 years old and now I'm 31. The stock suspension couldn't handle my weight at this age (200 pounds) so this shock was a perfect upgrade. It's almost a direct bolt on. You will be quite a few 10mm washers and will need to slightly bend the oil reservoir bracket (still works perfectly) to get this to fit. Other than that, very straightforward and easy.
