Inside diameter of screw holes is too tight, causing the screws to thread into the gear get a different one this one isn’t wort the problems it caused

Little elbow grease will get er done! Not terribly difficult, all in all, about four hours to do. It's obvious metal will last longer than plastic on the gear drive! Indian should at least provide a discounted price for a similar solution, as this is a known challenge with the windshield motor.

After taking the front cowl off the motorcycle. This part fit like a glove and now my windshield goes up and down with no problem

Bought this to replace the one on my 2020 Indian chieftain , very heavy duty and fit perfectly , mine didn’t strip out yet this was a preventative repair so that I didn’t end up with a broken one in riding season , it took about 3hrs for the repair .
