Thermometer

After ensuring that the cooling system has been decompressed, a thermometer can be used to measure the temperature of the cooling system to avoid burns. The indication range is 0~200℃/32-400°F.

I have a cooling system pressure tester, but wanted a system tester I could use to refill the system when I was done servicing it. This set fit the bill, and does a great job! I used it on my SUV when I recently replaced the radiator. The V8 engine's cooling system in my SUV is notoriously difficult to fill, taking sometimes days to "burp" all the accumulate air out of it. Using this set to pull a vacuum and fill the system worked great! I was able to refill the system in a matter of minutes without spillage or difficulty. I only had one concern, which is that the quick disconnect fitting for pulling a vacuum did not match any of the standard qucik disconnects I had in my compressed air system. I'll replace the fitting provided with one that matches my system, but otherwise, this worked great! No more pouring coolant into the system when refilling - this makes refilling a cooling system a piece of cake!
