Was hoping they'd hold up better, but they compress easily and Yes they can be stacked on top of one another.

No memory, no density, will pack out almost instantly. If you're looking to better control a foot in a ski boot, you'll need to look some where else, these stick well, to instantly compress to nothing.

Precut J pieces of adhesive foam....just what I needed to help with heal retention in some newer ski boots. These pads are staying in place so far, with some help, and can be doubled up if the compress a bit after many days of use. Given where these are placed on my ski boot liner, I did also add some tape (extra adhesive duct tape) to insure they stay in place while pulling the boot liners in and out of the shell. Used along with some O-shaped ankle padding, my boots are much more comfortable than before and my heals stay down better without really cranking up the buckles too much.

I rated these two-stars simply because I may have been using these incorrectly. I don't know how that could be, but "benefit of the doubt", and all that. My experience with them was very disappointing. The adhesive was very weak & resulted in the pads not maintaining position, and stacking was simply not an option for me at all. Maybe for boots with very wide foot openings these would be functional, but if your foot touches them at all as you're putting on your boots they are ineffective.

Have to clean the surface you are applying it to, but once on they are nice and sticky.
