I ordered two other cables that said they would fit. The first was too long, the second was too short. This one went on in 10 minutes and had my mower back up and running good! I have a toro front wheel drive. I included pictures so hopefully it helps. After searching Amazon for the better part of an hour this was the ONLY one I found with these measurements. To complete the replacement you’ll need a 10mm socket, extension, and ratchet. That’s it! Maybe cutter pliers if your old cable is still on the mower. Will add to review if it doesn’t last, but it feels like good quality and should last a few years.Welp I’m back the same day!! After mowing a half acre, on the last 10 ft of my yard the z end of the cable broke! I had to adjust the conduit a bit to get the drive to engage again so it works as pictured. I’m sure it won’t last much longer. Maybe if you don’t have the drive set too high it’ll last longer. I did have it set as tight as it’d go. I will buy one more time and see if it makes it when set a little looser.

This cable is the longer cable used for FRONT wheel drive Toro personal pace push mowers. Nevertheless, it will work for the rear wheel drive Toro personal pace push mowers with some added parts, zip ties. Once you get the cable connected to the transmission and routed up the handle to the drive actuator, you will need to neatly loop the excess cable, being careful not to kink the wire, and zip tie the loop to the handle. (This is only necessary if you use this cable on the Toro rear wheel drive variant, otherwise it will route fine without excess on the Toro front wheel drive variant.) The cable will work as it should and give the drive belt tension to turn the wheels.The cable itself is of good quality and the wire inside slides smoothly. It looks similar to the OEM cable when comparing the spring and the z-hook ends. It fits my model year 2004 Toro and brought the personal pace propulsion back to working order. This is a great part to make your Toro mower "Go" again.
