Easy to Install:
1. Go inside the freezer and remove a small panel to get to these components.
2. Replaces old sensor with the new one by simply tightening the wire cap and securing it with screws.

Works like a charm on my freezer- installation on my unit was not all that easy but not impossible. This is not "plug-and-go". You might have to cut your existing wires and splice (heat shrink) the new connection. THIS MEANS DON'T FORGET TO UNPLUG THE FREEZER SO NO CURRENT IS RUNNING THR0UGH THE CIRCUIT. ALSO, ALWAYS WEAR RUBBER GLOVES WHEN WORKING WITH ELECTRICITY.The wire are red and black - which implies positive and negative. When it comes to temperature sensors - there really is no positive or negative - but just in case, make sure you connect red-to-red and black-to-black since you never know what a manufacturer has done inside the circuit to channel current.

I used the 297018400 Fridge Sensor to replace the sensor on a Frigidaire.Thanks to the YouTube videos, you can test the old sensor and if needed, order this one.Videos make DIY repairs much easier.Good sensor. Did the trick. No service call payment!
